About: The performance Vertigo examines unexpected challenges, sudden changes in life, and personal catastrophes, presenting the audience with life in a nutshell: intense, emotional, and touching. Yet Vertigo, like all of Meritxell Campos Olivé's work, is anything but depressing; it is colorful, dynamic, and, despite its emotional weight, deeply optimistic. These contrasts can also be found in the music by harpsichordist Daniel Trumbull, which combines Baroque works with modern film music. Georgina Espasa created the visual design.
